We are interested in considered explanations, comparisons, cultural context and observations that work for general readers without demanding specialist knowledge or access to a particular site.

What to pitch

Send a concise proposal with a working title, the central idea, the reader it serves and the main points you would cover. Tell us what makes the angle distinct from a general introduction to the subject. A strong pitch has a defined scope and gives readers something specific to notice, compare or think through.

Writing that fits

We value accurate, self-contained writing in a natural voice. Pitches should distinguish personal preference from fact and avoid unsupported claims, recycled copy and sales-led recommendations. Do not propose hazardous tasks, specialist instructions or advice that requires readers to rely on local regulations.
